Itinerary

A 20 km guided wine cycle tour through the fertile terrain of the picturesque, northern end of the Barossa Valley.

Your tour begins with a short ride to a local artisan coffee roaster. Here, a shot of freshly ground beans will sharpen your senses and heighten your enthusiasm before riding to discover the historic village of Light Pass.

Your first wine tasting for the day is at a highly acclaimed family owned vineyard and stunning cellar door, a1918 built homestead located near the town centre.

Further north, relax and enjoy your second wine tasting of flavoursome handcrafted wines, followed by a delicious, seasonal lunch and gourmet cake, hand made by local Barossan artisans, at a rustic, mud-rendered cellar door and home to an original German settlers’ cottage.

After lunch, you’ll ride through sections of privately owned vineyard, arriving at the historic single vineyard of an exceptional seventh generation Barossa winegrower.

The day doesn’t end there.

From this vineyard, you’ll ride on bike trails along the gentle curves of the majestic gum-lined North Para River to an all Australian craft beer taphouse, to end your tour with a cold cleansing brew, reflecting on the hidden treasures you’ve discovered.
